Team,
We are
excited to get into training and preparation for the fall racing season.
You
need to sign up in the Athletics Office if you have not done so yet and attend
the Fall Sports Meeting during SERA on 5/28. For info and updates check the new
team web site: cr-xc-14.blogspot.com
Those of you who are not involved in Spring Track, we would like to have you start running soon!
Please
follow the schedule below.
Beginning May 26 –
Beginning May 26 –
Run for 20 minutes
every other day. You can start from your home and jog 10 minutes in one
direction, then turn around and return. Remember to loosen up good prior and
stretch for 10 minutes afterward.
Beginning June 15 –
Beginning June 15 –
Run 5 days
per week. 2 of your runs should be 45 minutes in length, the other 3 should be
30 minutes. On the 30 minute run days do 6 x 100m build ups afterward.
On Saturday, June 28, we would like the whole team to meet at Parvins at 8:30am. After warm ups, you will be timed for a run around the lake. Guys will be expected to run under 22 minutes, girls under 28 minutes.
