BANQUET - 11/21

Our end of the season banquet will be on Friday, 11/21, starting at 6pm. EVERYONE is expected to attend. Bring your parents and family members that you like.

Location: Carll's Corner Community Fellowship (right around the corner from the school at 1240 Highway 77.

Food assignments will be delegated by Mr Sloan.

*We will remember the season and give out special awards.

7/8 Threshold workout

Tonight we did a different approach to our 1k workout. Runners were instructed to run at a comfortable aerobic pace for each of five 1k runs, then after 3min recovery, start again. A running clock with times be given left the headwork to each runner. Most of the runners ran with others who were close in conditioning. here were the times it took each to complete the workout:
Jacob, Sal, Phil & Gino- 32:14, Matt- 33:05, Ashley, Kyle & Kott- 37:10; Muff & Mekenna (did 4x)- 32:25

*Former CR All Star Justin N led the group at a controlled pace, very easy, for the first 2m, afterwhich the first few finishers picked up the pace and completed the lake loop.
